From Jonathan Savage: Rock the Boat is a non-profit concert cruise in Mission Bay to benefit
the MARSOC foundation. Six bands and two DJs will perform on a classy
500 capacity ship which leaves from Bahia Resort on September 28th at
7pm and cruises until midnight. An all local line-up includes: Dead
Feather Moon, UpRooted, Deadly Birds, Pilot Touhill, TarrBaby, and
Oliver Trolley. The MARSOC foundation is a 501c3 based out of Temecula
that provides benevolent support to Marine Special Operations Command
(MARSOC) Marines, Sailors and their families. Rock the Boat is a night
to support those who have served while celebrating the best of San
Diego: our bays and beaches, our socially conscious people, and our

Listen Local Cooks Vol. 2, our cookbook and music compilation featuring
Your recipes and songs.
Vol 1 was released in 2006 and was a hard copy compilation that can be viewed here. Vol 2 will be an all digital version available for download for only $10, a portion of the proceeds being donated to help SD musicians via HotrodHelps.org. It will be available just in time for the holidays and selected participants will get free downloads, the perfect gift for your family and fans.

Please include a BRIEF 2 sentence paragraph about yourself and type your recipes in the body of the email, do NOT send as an attachement. 1 song and/or recipe per submission, song submissions MUST be accompanied by a recipe. Please include a photo of your completed recipe and of yourself. ANYONE associated with Listen Local (musicians, fans, photographers, writers, anyone!) is welcomed to submit. Selected participants will be announced in November, good luck!
